Honours Page

In 2007-2008 mental health services and community organisations were invited to commit to being HealthRight. We would like to congratulate the following organisations for taking the first step towards improving physical health for people living with mental illness, by making the commitment to become HealthRight

More and more people who live with mental illness are proving that with the right support and information they can take control of their lives and seek help, control smoking, eat well, manage alcohol and other drugs, participate in physical activity and the community.

HealthRight organisations play an important role in creating healthy settings and supportive environments for physical health promotion. Including creating healthy policy, raising awareness, providing the right information and support, helping people develop healthy lifestyle skills and encouraging self responsibility in managing physical health.
